In the Beginning
The Board of Accountancy was founded in the Fall of 2006 by Eugene Monray, not much was done that year, but the foundation had been started. In the spring of 2007, David Briggs became the first working president. The Board developed its sense of participation in school sponsored events like "Hoe Down Days." This marked the first semester of invited speakers for Board events; a cornerstone of today's Board. The Board continued to promote leadership and guiding events on campus. Such involvement scored it the 2008 Curricular Club of the Yea at the Spring awards banquetr. President Valeria Mauser continued tradition in the Fall of2008, hosting many prestigious speakers and providing a framework and organization that is still in use today. The Board of Accountancy has currently been awarded three consecutive 'Club of the Year' awards. |

To teach and understand responsibility as well as to elevate expectations by doing everything in a first-class manner. We commit to providing first-hand information regarding transfer to top schools, careers, life skills, and to develop a sense and importance of community. Primarily, to accomplish the above, with unquestionable honesty, respect, and integrity.
